Do this (5 steps)
- Set mode dial to P / Av / Tv / M.
- Enable Live View (Start/Stop button).
- Press MENU → open the Shooting (red camera) tab.
- Look for Silent shooting, Silent LV shoot, or Shutter mode, then set it to Enable or Mode 1.
- Take a test shot in Live View. If banding appears under LEDs, disable silent or change shutter speed.

Troubleshooting
Option is greyed out
- Remove any flash/trigger from the hot shoe.

- Some sound can remain (aperture, lens AF/IS). The biggest difference is usually in Live View.
